I made this cake for Anarbor on November 22, 2010 while they were on tour with VersaEmerge and Conditions, and the cake was a 3-D cake version of the album cover for “Free Your Mind”. The head and base were sculpted out of chocolate cake and included coffee and chocolate icing. The head was covered with fondant and the base’s icing was dyed purple. I also hand made and hand painted every piece, including each flower, vine, eye, and the letters of “Anarbor”.
Naturally, at a concert, there are always people that make things for the band, and going up to Slade and Mike, and telling them that, “I had a cake for them in my car” they were very kind and walked down the street, taking a casual smoke. Little did they know, they found themselves next to a hearse with the man of off their album cover staring back at them. Immediately they each threw down their cigarettes and I was greeted with plenty of hugs and HOLY SHIT!’s haha. But they are such extremely grateful people, and even their crew is just a sweet. If you have the chance, it would be worth-while to go see Anarbor on tour.
You can check out their tour dates HEREand you can also follow Anarbor on Twitter and Tumblr!
Look familiar? Well, it should! The band, A Rocket to the Moon was nice enough to post this video titled, “Fueled by Cakes” that featured the guitar cake I had made them and their cover of “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars on their Fueled By Ramen YouTube Channel! And, if you’ve never seen me before, now you can! haha This video was taken by Travis Zachary on October 23, 2010 at the Recher Theatre in Towson, Maryland.
This was the fifth cake that I have made for A Rocket to the Moon from October 23, 2010 at the Recher Theatre in Towson, Maryland, and it was based off of the lead singer, Nick Santino’s custom Fender guitar, and was surrounded by a present, to represent the tour that they were on, The Small Package Tour, a stars and stripes banadana that Nick Santino had worn in THIS video, Tony Lama Boots logo (to show A Rocket to the Moon’s love for them!), the drummer, Andrew Cook’s prefered drum sticks which are Vater 5B Sugar Maple sticks, their friend, Johnny Mindardi’s clothing line, Snakes & Suits logo, Panic! At the Disco’s “Hey Moon” sticker that is on the back of ARTTM’s van, ARTTM’s Ep, Rainy Day Sessions, the band’s logo off of their “Greeting’s From…” Ep, and the bassist, Eric Halvorsen’s favorite piece, the parrot hat! All of the pieces on and around the the are hand made and hand painted. The guitar, parrot hat and present were all sculpted out of chocolate cake infused with Tim Hourton’s Hot Chocolate and iced with chocolate icing and A Rocket to the Moon and All Time LOw’s favorite, coffee icing!
As many times as I have said this, I can never thank A Rocket to the Moon enough! Nick Santino, Justin Richards, Andrew Cook, Eric Halvorsen, Jimmy O’Rourke, Britton Billik, and Travis Zachary are the sweetest people in the world!
You can check out ARTTM at http://www.arockettothemoon.net and you can follow the band and members on TWITTER! A Rocket to the Moon is on tour now so be sure to check their website for dates near you!

I made this three teired chocolate cake with chocolate icing for the singer, Vita Chambers and her band consisting of, Ryan Seigel (Who is the singer and guitarist of Exes of Evil or EXOE) Sherman(Shermanelli haha who is also the bass player for The Veronicas!) and Louis Vecchio (Who is currently the drummer in New Politics!). I never thought this would be possible to deliver due to her being on tour with Justin Beiber, but I was so happy that her tweet saying that she had seen my cakes (from Alex DeLeon of The Cab) and would love to recieve a cake from me was an amazing feeling. She is only 17 as well and I am so happy to have meet her and realize how much we are alike in accomplishing what we have dreamt to do. Everyone should go check out her music on her Myspace and “like” her Facebook! Also, she has a twitter and you should definately follow it, I know I do!
This is the second cake I have made A Rocket to the Moon and they are Tim Hourtons Hot Chocolate Chocolate Cupcakes with chocolate ganache icing. A Rocket to the Moon is one of my favorite bands, and I hand made and hand painted fondant and gum paste figures which were, a gold dog tag that says “Angus” and includes a peace sign, a “wood” cornhole (the game) and blue cornhole bags, a burgundy Snakes and Suits logo, a Chipotle logo, a miniature size 11 Tom’s Shoes black and gold/yellow shoe, the Take Action Tour logo since their tour date in Baltimore was cancelled due to the Blizzard of 2010!!! haha and a Tim Hourton’s Hot Chocolate cup filled with Hot Chocolate cake and ganache and marshmellows! Check out A Rocket to the Moon on their new website at ARockettotheMoon.net! You can also follow Nick, Halvo, Andrew and Justin on twitter and “like” them on Facebook to see photos from tour! (Including picture of cakes I’ve made them!)
This is The Summer Set’s first cake (besides the cupcakes I made for them on Warped Tour) that I delivered to them on October 29, 2010 at Jammin’ Java in Vienna, Virginia. These cakes are both vegan chocolate cake with vegan chocolate icing with a layer of fondant on them. I hand painted and hand piped the Jack Daniels Bottle to look like their (then) newest t-shirt and a circular cake going from orange to red with “Love Like This” piped on top to represent the band’s album, “Love Like This”. The Summer Set will be releasing their newest album, “Everything’s Fine” this summer, so check it out at http://www.Everythings-Fine.com! Also the last pictures are of Jess Bowen, John Gomez and Brian Dales with the cake inside of the venue taken by the lovely, Courtney Swan! To see the photos originally, “like” The Summer Set’s Facebook Page and follow Jess, Josh, John, Stephan, Brian, and Courtney on twitter!
I made this Bridal Shower cake in 2009 and it is a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing and a hand piped and hand painted hearts in gold luster dust with hot pink roses around the top of the first layer to go along with the wedding colors.
These are the second batch of cupcakes that I have made for Paramore at their Honda Civic Tour Date at Hershey Park in 2010. These never got delivered to them and I instead offered them to the line of fans as the doors were opening haha and to the Truth. Booth and they gave me a free shirt for it, they were so sweet!. But they are vegan chocolate cupcakes with vegan chocolate ganache icing and a hand made and hand painted replica of the butterfly off of band’s newest album, “Brand New Eyes”. I will also post the other cupcakes that I made for Paramore soon when I can transfer the pictures over!!! If you were at the concert and got a piece of the cupcakes and took a picture of it, send it to me!
